Aurélie Georges' bows presented here are all handmade bows.

  • The making process of each of them is initially done on a research about historical models of Nyckelharpa & Violin Bows.
  • They are built following the making technique of each period.
  • Each of them corresponds to one musical period and has its own sound and playability.

Bow n° 1: Snakewood with clipping frog

 

 

Bow n°2: Snakewood, head a tiny bit lower than model 1, with screw

Bow n°3: Sorbus wood, modern model, silver tip at the head

 

Bow n°4: Sorbus wood, Renaissance model
